3.1 Strictly Necessary

  • Authentication (Clerk): Keeps you signed in and secures your account session.
  • Consent preference: A small localStorage entry (artypop_cookie_consent) that records whether you accepted or declined analytics, so we don't ask you again on every visit.
  • Core shopping state: Storage needed to operate features such as your cart and checkout flow.

3.2 Analytics & Product Improvement

These help us understand how the shop is used so we can improve it. They are off by default and only load after you accept them.

  • PostHog: Product analytics and session recording used to measure page views, feature usage, and funnels. Until you accept, PostHog runs in an opted-out, cookieless mode and does not record sessions.

We do not use cookies for third-party advertising or to sell your personal information.

4. Managing Your Choices

When you first visit, a cookie banner lets you accept or decline non-essential analytics cookies. Declining keeps analytics cookies and session recording disabled in your browser. (We still process limited usage and order data on our servers to operate the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.) You can change your decision at any time using the control below — it reopens the banner so you can accept or decline again.

You can also control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may cause parts of the site (such as sign-in and checkout) to stop working.
